Food was delicious the service amazing and the ambiance was ok. More of a neighborhood hot spot.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience today at Pacino's. Our server Ali W made sure of it! Five of us sat on the patio and enjoyed lunch and the first day of cooler temps. Ali was very attentive, friendly and always made sure we had enough water. Before we knew it 3 hours had passed. For a special treat, Ali brought each of us a complimentary mini cannoli. We all appreciated this Italian treat which Ali told us is made entirely in house. The next time you head to Pacino's, ask to sit in Ali's section ; you won't be disappointed!
This has become our go-to both for a quick happy hour or a longer dinner with friends and family. The bar area is lively and the food is solid from the pizza to the pasta.
7/20/24: Wow. Just wow. Excellent food, friendly staff, Pacino memorabilia all over the place (well, duh), a spotless interior with a large patio. What more could you need? Oh, music!! We are definitely going to return to Pacino's because if you see the brunch/lunch menu, oh baby, we want some of that! Our server, Javier, was exceptional: polite, funny, and just on top of everything. We never had to ask for drink refills or for the table to be cleared off to make room for more food. He was constantly checking in on us from the moment we sat down, and for the entire 2 hrs we were there enjoying the ambiance and delicious food. Appetizers: bread w/ vinegar & oil, caprese board, fried artichoke. Awesome. The artichokes being fried was a new experience for all of us; we had to force ourselves to stop munching or we wouldn't be able to eat our meals. We did devour the bread, though! Meals: chicken picatta, malenzane parmigiana (eggplant, gnocchi), taste of Italy (lasagna, chicken parm, fettucine alfredo). All of it hot, well flavored, loaded with cheese, and just damn good. Again, we had to stop because there was no way we were missing dessert. Desserts: dolce vita (pizza with ricotta, blueberries, basil, thin crust), salted caramel cheesecake, mousse di limone. All of it: well worth the calories! The pizza was on the menu as being black, not blue, berries, but that was the only hiccup with our entire orders. Pacino's was a 40 minute drive for us but as alluded earlier, we will definitely make that drive again. Such a great place!
Pacino's Restaurant Real Italian is a killer spot with killer, AUTHENTIC Italian and killer folks! Grade A. #1 with a bullet! My friend Karen recommended this for a get together we were doing and it was perfect! Frank, the owner, was there and made sure everything was perfect and set up to look great. The bartenders were friendly and the food was fantastic! They have live music and a great patio. A great variety of italian food and it's a locally owned, family run business. I recommend. 2831 N Power Rd, Mesa (mcdowell & power)
This was our first time trying Pacino's and it was a great experience. We got there at 4:30 and sat in the bar so we could take advantage of their happy hour specials. The only thing to be aware of is that happy hour only goes until 5:00 unlike most restaurants where it's 6:00. However our waiter did let us order a second round of drinks before the cut off so there was no problem. They had a very nice bar area with ability to sit at the bar, high top tables, low top tables, outside tables with misters, or the outside bar that opens to the inside. The dining room looked nice as well. My husband and I both ordered martinis which were good. The waiter, Jason, wanted to make sure it was to our liking so he brought us out more olive juice to dirty it up more. That was such a nice gesture. For dinner I chose the garlic salmon, it was served on a bed of creamy risotto and asparagus spears and was delicious. I'm just sorry I didn't take a picture to share. My husband got the spaghetti and Grandma's meatballs. The portion was large with two huge meatballs, my husband really liked it. He only ate half, it was so much, and gets to enjoy the other half for another dinner. Finally a big shout out to Jason, our waiter! He made our experience extra special. He had a great sense of humor and was very attentive. We even enjoyed the funny drawing he left for us on the back of the bill. We will definitely be back soon!
If you know me, then you know I'm a caprese aficionado. Always looking for a great Caprese, which led my Yelp Bestie Chelsey H. and I to check this establishment out as we found via the Yelp App. Yelpies usually have the best recommendations! We came on a fairly busy Friday night, but they have ample seating inside so we had no wait. Our server was very attentive even with multiple tables, and the band being quite loud right next to our booth. They even had great recommendations and helped us decide on what to order. I'm happy to say the caprese was amazing, and I really enjoyed the pasta dish we ordered as well. The pizza flavor wasn't my favorite, but it was still really good! I know Chelsey said it was great as leftovers. Next time, we will try a different flavor as the crust/sauce was amazing! All in all, we definitely see us coming back!
